The grinder is made of walnut wood cut in Hjellestad south of Bergen. It is finished with food-safe Odie's Oil. The CrushGrind mechanism is of very good quality. It is also possible to adjust how coarsely it should grind by turning the gray screw at the bottom of the grinder.
